WHAT IS AIKIDO
Aikido (合気道) is comprised of three characters which roughly translate to "The Way of Harmony with the Universe"; a true budo, or martial way evolved from traditional Japanese armed and unarmed martial arts. Aikido is a path for perfecting the spirit, a framework for approaching inner and interpersonal conflict, a way to create balance in a stressful world, and a reflective lens through which the practitioner can express their own aiki.
